Considering they are in a place without access to medicine or hospitals anything can be dangerous tho, she is very skinny and smol too, I would worry

Unless he cut her pretty deep, that’s not going to kill her. She’s going to be ver anemic, but not necessarily dead. One could argue that because she’s technically hanging from her wrists, she might bleed out... but honestly I don’t think she actually will.
It’s a misconception that cutting horizontally is the way to do it. To properly slit a person’s wrist, you do it vertically so that the wound can’t be properly sealed (the author actually talked about this earlier on at the beginning of the story).
