I LOVE this manga and novel but I just wanna point out this moment when Ashley ‘saves’ her from Rona

Cecile was harassed by Rona and Ashley angry and lowkey blames her out of jealousy? I know he’s just angry at the moment and doesn’t mean it and maybe it’s just a figure of speech from the male lead but WHY we let this culture of blaming the victims (such as : “you let a man get close to you?” ) in literally MANY mangas and webtoons?????
