So here's why this story irks me, disgusts me, and I CANT

It doesn't know its genre

Is this a comedy? A drama? Wtf?

The setting is basically two kingdoms at war with each other, and the humans are winning, have one enemy ruler in prison ( she was being burned down too I think ?), and are openly racist
That is enough to make them the villains of the story

So then, WHY is it that the main character treats them like the friendly neighbors? No less, her children do so too, that's just *fantastic*
And to add a little more frustration to the giant cake of bullshit, no demon protested her easy going attitude ever since that one comment at the beginning about being naive

Frankly, if they can criticize someone for being naive THE FIRST TIME THAT SAID SOMEONE ENTERS A NEW WORLD, why don't they protest to her acting like this isn't WAR

-> Main point: no one seems to think this is a time of death or life, torture or safety
No one truly acts like it, and they seem like they're just playing at war <-

THIS is why I felt so frustrated
I guess if I fool myself into believing its not a real war, but a game everyone agreed to play, i can read through this


Although, even if it were a game, her character would still be unnerving
She doesn't want to stop the game (she's probably having a lot of fun, good for her) she doesn't want to win, and she doesn't want to lose
Shes just playing aimlessly
As long as she's happy and comfortable, right? Its just a game after all
