They are adults but they act like kids, the princes who look older than what their actual age is act way more mature than them. It could have been 100% times better if this was not a reincarnation story and they were actual kids, so their behaviour and their train of thought would make sense, but of course that would actually made a hundred times more weird the fact that the guardian and the princess are going to end together (I hate that, btw).
Also, the fact that the twins barely speak with others aside of themselved (because twin telephaty) it also makes it more hard to relate to them, because we see the vrothers making tons of effort in order to engage with or make their little siblings feel better, they even protect them. But the twins doesn’t even show a lot of emotions towards them, not concern or gratefulness, even less a little bit of love, so it’s so weird to me that they are adults inside but can’t even understand that literal childs are protecting them...
