Maybe she just thought her course of actions led him to be more interested in her? Not even gonna mention the previous previous life becuz I don't remember if she saw him in the flashbacks or whatever, but as annoying as it is, she already has suspicions that he's been in love with her "sword" for a long time, hence the previous actions he took in their past life. Or am I just filling in the blanks with my own headcanon? Lmao
I feel like they were gods together. I don't know if he remembers that or it is affecting him subconsciously but I think it is fueling his obsession. Also come on, be a little less dense Ianna, if he only loved your "sword" he would not touch you this much.
