If i remember correctly, the reason he lets her be a maid was because he was furious at her and literally told her to stay away from his sight. If i hated someone and saw them being clumsy i wouldn't give a f*ck about that person, like wtf is going on?

Omg yessss!!! I actually cried reading this, because wtf. Her father was literally ready to break ties with her after using her as a pawn. The only redeeming male character is her brother imo.

So some people are mentioning how cliche it is but that's not even why I don't like the story. She was literally in the castle, forced to do several maids'work by herself for several months, her father cut ties with her like it was nothing, she was forced into this unwanted marriage because they threatened her using her brother and her husband absolutely hates her and even tried to strangle her. She even ran away from the palace because she was done with all the threats like woohoo! Finally something happening in the story but then they turned that into shit and now all of a sudden the duke likes her??? There was absolutely no hint of that throughout the story. Distance may make the heart grow fonder but he absolutely despised her and now, 30 chapters later, they think that throwing in a few scenes of him watching her being clumsy is enough to make him fall in love??? That's just awful story telling. She isn't in love with him either. If anything, she just likes his face but she's surrounded by hot guys so it doesn't make sense why she'd choose the one who abuses her. She had a way out with the whole holy maiden of the church thing yet she hesitated because of her brother and then the Duke steps in and says that he won't let her go like ???? Seems like he just didn't want to let her go now that she's useful, especially since he had news of her being the holy maiden spread around town. It's just awful pacing and quite frankly, a toxic relationship. Cute art though. Rant over. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
