heyo. so the author likes to put special episodes in the middle of the main plot, for holidays and anniversaries etc. . that is just a special episode, after they get together, cuz, u know, usually the main couple in any yaoi gets together sooner or later. this is like an epilogue before the story finished. hope this helps, have fun with the story <3
