After Hong Xiu's death XYA and YHQ would drift apart from each other and several days later XYA sent YHQ back to the Southern Yan Kingdom and he finally decided to focus on being an emperor and change the Northern Kingdom's fate.
But after a few months Nothern Kingdom experience many shits which made XYA stressed out, then suddenly the boarderline of Northern Kingdom was attacked by the Southern Yan Kingdom so XYA decided to send LWD and XCG to different boarderlines.
FAST FORWARD
It was snowing heavily and the troops of LWD are getting hungry over months of fighting and their granary are almost gone, the restocks are also delayed because of the heavy snow so XYA ordered XCG troops to help secure the restocks for LWD's troops
Later that night LWD along with his men decided to infiltrate the Southern Yan Kingdom's granary, LWD sent men to distract the Southern Yan Kingdom's soldiers so they could sneak on the granary and take some food.
But their plan didn't go well and was ambushed by YHQ's uncle alongside his soldiers, LWD and the remaining soldiers locked themselves on the granary, YHQ's uncle kept persuading LWD to surrender and join the Southern Yan Kingdom.
LWD asked his soldiers if they wanted to live, but it was too late because one of the soldiers decided to lit up the whole granary while singing the Nothern Kingdom's song, LWD was shocked but soon joined singing with them, on his final moments LWD thought of XCG.
Later that day XCG arrived on the barracks of Nothern Kingdom with the food restock, he was very excited because he will finally get to join LWD to war as he promised but he was shocked when a soldier said that LWD and his men who went to infiltrate Southern Yan Kingdom's granary never came back.
After hearing the news XYA was so shock, he questioned himself if he really made the right decisions and that made him coughed blood and fainted, when he woke up he felt awful as if his efforts was useless, he saw his sister beside him and asked her a favor to stay alive no matter what.
XCG and his troops was trying their best to keep the Southern Yan Kingdom soldiers from breaking in to the Northern Kingdom, but they still failed and was defeated (idk if XCG died as well) after that the soldiers from Southern Yan Kingdom successfully broke into the Northern Kingdom.
