it's fiction and it's yaoi. Yaoi has a lot of problems but it's not worth wasting your brain cells thinking about it.
Critique is good tho and tbh us readers shouldn’t be getting used to distasteful use of rape in yaoi. Like it’s fine for psychological stories but it shouldn’t be such a prevalent thing in yaoi.
Same. I hate romanticized yaoi, but it's not like you can critique yaoi authors in an illegal page for english manga readers. I'm fine with rape and all things mindfucking as long as it's psychological and not considered yaoi. if it's like that and a yaoi then fuck it. I don't even consider reading those.
