Like, BDSM is not about a dom ignoring all of a sub's boundaries, desires, etc. and doing what they want anyways. Proper bdsm has defined preferences, lots of pre-negotiation, safe words, consent, etc. I'm not going to sit here and rag on non-con in manga, that's not the point. The point is that this artist has twisted BDSM into something that implies the sub has absolutely no control over what is done to them. Ugh, idk. This could have been soooooooooo good, but instead it's just a rape-y perversion of BDSM.
Meant to like! Totally agree. I was a bit weirded out about the whole dom and sub being secondary genders and what not, but the whole no consent thing was just a bit how would I put it... uncomfortable.
