Perspective is important, depending on how it's presented author can make peoples hate or love a character. That's why we can love a MC that act like a bitch and yet dislike it so much when it's an enemy, even if often the MC is worse than the enemy.

Every manga I read makes me have a different perspective of these ladies (o_0) I’m completely conflicted because I love it when a FL reincarnate and become scheming bitches to get what they want but when it’s the FL against a scheming bitch I’m like “ooooh wow what’s her sickness!?” I always cheer for the leads regardless of personalities so they could be a sweet angel who’s loved by all and I’ll hate the villain or the lead could be a villain and I’d hate the sweet angel...
