While I agree with some of your points, I don't think that age gap can really count, especially if suzu and Hikari are your favourite couple.
Yahiro is like 8 years ago and Hina would be around 15. But suzu is also about 15 and Hikari is like 22. So the ga is kinda large for both
Still I wish she was in college or something, and he was at least in middle school. Them meeting when he's so young is a bit off.
Hm... Hina is the same age as Uta and Ryuu tho and they seem to be almost or actual 3rd years since they are already making plans for college so they are at least 17 years old.
While Yahiro is at least 7 years younger than her.
But I think it's mostly like ur last statement says, the age gap isn't really the problem it's when the age gap appears. Him being in elementary school while she is getting ready for college makes it feel a bit off. Which is why Hikari and Suzu don't bother me as much even when the age gap is similar.
Yahiro and Hina can still be a couple if they can wait until Yahiro is of age. In the long run, their age gap won't matter

Thanks for sharing ur opinion, but Tbh I found hikari x suzu the most disgusting one. I was never a fan of teacher x student type of relationships or pet x human relationship. Age gaps are fine in general that’s why I’m not that creeped out by yahiro x hina, but seriously, sleeping with ur teacher? FBI OPEN UP.

Yah it's definitely the timing that puts me off. I know they wanted some diversity in the couples but he's just too young. I hope she doesn't get her memories or at least waits til he's older

Yahiro and Hina couple is my least favorite, Hina is at least 7-10 years older than him,eve.if she gets her memories back it'll still be Hella awkward. Considering how the other couples seem MUCH more realistic, making him at least a 2nd year in middle school or even a first year in HS suddenly finding her after getting in the same school would have made more sense.
Hikari and Suzu is my favorite one tho, he already has clear feelings for her but because of the teacher x student relationship and tge fact that she initially saw her current life as an extension of her cat life he wants to draw a clear line. While, Suzu's weigh if her love for Hikari is slowly changing and she's realizing it too which I think is adorable
