When I first saw your comment/question I thought to suggest you just re read BUT I thought about it and you're right to be confused...to some extent I don't get it either. Okay, Ahn confessed his feelings to Hojun and admitted that he lied to him about the circumstances that brought them together. Of course it is expected Hojun would be mad, but not to this degree. We don't have a backstory that says he was lied to or bullied before that would make him overly sensitive to being lied to once but he's like 'how can i believe anything you say now?' He is jealous of other students (that don't exist), jealous of Ahn's ex bc he seems mature & sophisticated and he was genuinely concerned about Ahn catching a chill at the end there; so we know he still cares. We also know he's probably still hurt from being dumped by his last bf bc he sucked in bed but Ahn DID teach him and he was not scammed at all. Maybe he needs proof of how far he's come to appreciate that Ahn did teach him well? Rather than nitpick about wanting to know this earlier he needs to focus on the fact that Ahn was afraid to lose him by telling him the truth and trust that Ahn really cares for him.
i’m... can someone explain the whole conflict to me please? i always have a hard time when it comes to this kind of plot.... why would hojun get mad over the whole ‘sex-teacher’ lie thing? what would’ve been the outcome if mr. ahn told the truth sooner? what about hojun and ‘all this time i—‘?? what??? what about it being a joke?? IM CONFUSed
