First, what the heck did you just do to those teenage girls. And they're like in middle school. As someone who has nieces, what he did was extremely disgusting to me. Second, I'm mad at the author because i really started reading this manga like it was 10+ chapters and i invested a lot of time reading it but i kinda stopped reading it during 100+ chapters because i was waiting for it to pile up. And now i can't even look tge same way i looked at the manga. And for those that now mangarock, it's even downloaded there until now. Now, I can't even help but think of something bad about Act-age. Like i kept thinking what if that's the reason why the FL is in highschool and the director is in his early 30s(?)( Let's be honest, I'm kinda fond of huge age gaps but done right like oresama teacher) And the author was even like you've done nothing wrong about the police's investigation. Just pisses me off tge fact that he admitted it outright like he did nothing wrong. Now 4 mangas in shounen jump ended during 2020. 3 months ago Kimetsu no Yaiba ended, 2 months ago Promised neverland ended, 1 month ago haikyuu ended and now Act-age ended.

Let's not confuse stuff. The author (story/plot writer) was the one arrested. The one drawing was his partner a 21-year young woman that had her career affected because her partner couldn't act his age.

I did say the author and not the artist though.

Technically both the writer and the artist are authors of the story since both of them contributed in the creation of the story. I highly doubt the artist was just given a script and drew based on their interpretation; rather its more plausible that the writer came up with most of the original ideas and the artist added to it before they both came to an agreement and the artist started to draw. Because the artist didn't solely draw based on instructions they also have a part in developing the story and therefore they are an author too. That's why you should refer to the person that got arrested as the writer not author

Really hope the artist’s career is gonna be ok after this though, I think this is their first work, and the art looks absolutely amazing. Hope what the writer did doesnt affect anything related to the artist smh
