I think that question will be answered with time...
But for Raeliana, she was pushed off a building in the modern life... and she's reincarnated in a completely different time, so she probably just thinks that because she's in the past, she can't investigate things that happened in the future, if that makes sense?
Why does Raeliana never try to find out who murdered her old self that got her reincarnated? I know that she died and can never do anything about her old life anymore but if I were her, I would BE MAD AS HELL and would want to know which bitch literally PUSHED ME OFF a building the moment I got accepted into my dream university!!! But Raeliana seems quite calm about it though, I hoped this story would at least make the effort to mention that detail. :(((
