i personally would feel very betrayed. if the entire way we met - which was sex, was just a joke/lie, what else would they have been lying about? something like that is so serious and suddenly being told that the entire way you met and became bonded together by was a lie? if someone lies to you about something that serious - their career, just because they were dared by their friends, how could i trust anything else about them?
Didn’t he pay him? It’s like going to college or like a culinary school and after paying and stuff the teacher is like lol i’m not actually a teacher. But I had a lot of fun teaching you guys.
Also the seme was being lied to the entire time of their relationship. I feel like it’d be kinda hard to trust someone after all of that.
1. Theres no degree to teach sex. So whoever claims they are teaching sex aren't pretending they are a real profesionnal.
2. No, the seme didn't pay, the uke kept telling him they will discuss the price later.
The uke gave lessons, as he promised. There was nothing else to expect from.his offer on the website. And he did a good job. So theres no reason to complain about the lessons themselves.
So what?
He lied about his job. That's it.
Its as if a guy was hired for a striptease for a party. And then you chatted with him and became close and started going out. And then later on he admits that striptease isnt his job, he only did it once as a dare.
SO WHAT? Lieing about what he does for a living is NOT a big deal. Because the truth is his real work doesnt involve him in any sexual.activity.
And I’ve said this in the post you’re replying to. It’s not even that dramatic. It’s not the author pulling this shit out of their ass for the sake of drama. He wasn’t even angry, he was upset, yes, but he didn’t push Mr. Ahn away and ignored him because of overwhelming emotions. If anything, his reaction was very subdued. He even told Mr. Ahn to stay indoors else he might catch a cold even after learning the truth. That’s the kind of person Hojun is.
Of course its not stupid to take a minute to think things thourgh. Its mature as you said.
But i do think its stupid that he had to do that. I think it is stupid that he is upset about that.
Literally, he just learned that his the uke didn't have other *students*, thats a good new.
.
Since the seme suffered about not knowing about all this, it would have made more sense if he asked why the uke never told the truth. And if he would have been a bit angry for knowing about it only now, i think it would be ok.
But getting upset to the point of needing to think it through alone seems stupid to me.
I’m also gonna point out that Hojun doesn’t know the amount of research his teacher put through and isn’t able to tell which Were jokes and which were truths. Those were private sessions that could’ve been leaked and laughed about with Ahn’s friends. And to his defense, they DID talk about Hojun at the dinner table, just not the way Hojun might’ve imagined the conversation to go. People keep forgetting that the reader’s POV is omniscient and Hojun doesn’t see things the way we do. So what if Ahn loves him now and there weren’t any other students, Hojun’s feelings of being upset is perfectly valid and we have no right to invalidate those feelings. It’s not “stupid”. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

If a guy confessed to me and then we became a couple. And then one day he tells me he confessed as a dare from a game and then came to really like as he got to know me. I wouldnt care really. It was a lie, but it's not like i was betrayed. If he cheated on me because it was only a game at first, it would be another story. But otherwise theres no reason to have make it dramatic.
Also....the uke actually teached him....the guy was so bad, he kept being dumped despite having this godlike body and nice personnality. So why even complain. Thats completely stupid.
