some of y’all really be defending kan just because he realized what he was doing is wrong. i cant even HE HIT HIM HE ABUSED HIM, HE FUCKING LIT CIGARETTES ON HIS BACK WTF YALL i mena at least he realized that what he had done was bad but omg, it like if someone raped someone and then felt bad about it ITS NOT GOING TO CHANGE THE FACT YOU STILL DID IT, forgiveness is good and everything but HE WAS STILL AWFUL horrible
.

true. he didn't even apologise, and for the record, that he admitted he was doing wrong was in no way shape or form an apology.

yes kan was absolutely wrong and theres nothing to excuse his actions. try reading azami tho ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/azami/) it'll help explain a bit why he turned out that way.

He was wrong for not apologizing but I blame his superior for turning him to an abusive person. It's all those shitty superior that people turned like that.

Abuse is never justified, certainly. I would implore you to read Kan's backstory as well though not for forgiveness, but to gain empathy. He was mentally, physically, and sexually abused as well by his coworkers for at least 3-5 years before he started inflicting violence upon Yumi. It's easy to hate Kan for his actions but people aren't one-dimensional.
