Not because I hate Cha Hae In, but because I like a strong independent female character like Pauliana in the female knight & the emperor. But this romance in this webtoon isn't rubbing me off the right way, like, Cha Hae In was given an advantage because Beru isn't fighting in his 100% power, and instead of accepting the power difference with dignity, she goes off to keep on fighting which is kinda lame because she looks like a damsel in distress what with the MC intervening in the fight so she doesn't get seriously hurt.
Where's my strong female lead?? To me, this chapter shows that she's no smart, independent woman, because there are more OP characters out here who are handling her with kid gloves because she doesn't know when to stop. Like, definition of women being portrayed as delicate beings that don't know their limits.
Not hating on Cha Hae In, to be clear, I hated how she's portrayed here like she's a man chaser who would go to stupid lengths just to be with a man she's attracted to. This portrayal of a woman is just cringy.
I'm kinda annoyed at the romance tbh.
