Im not offended over it but like kinda sad since chocolate skin did look nice on her and well seeing it since the beginning it just felt like a part of her and like her connection with the dark spirit king u kno? Does the dark spirit king leave?
I haven't read the entire novel yet, but I think the dark spirit king won't leave her at all. He still stays with her and still protects her. The light future king doesn't even stay with her, they blessed her and they haven't made any appearances after that.
I don't have a problem with her having lighter skin but I do have a problem when her mother became nicer to her after having lighter skin and bunch of jerks liking her after having lighter skin
Is it just me who doesn't have a problem with the light spirit white washing her? I mean, it's not like she was originally dark skinned. If I remembered it correctly, she just happened to have darker skin because of the dark spirit blessing her, so its safe to assume that she is originally white. Although it is a bit disappointing that she was whitewashed in the end, I don't have any particular problems with it (well, maybe the fact that they are portraying dark skin as something evil and unattractive, yea that kinda sets me off)
