it's actually stereotyped by people in real life????? oh god. is that also the reason why i've been seeing a lot of prostitute-related stories here???? i've not been liking some recent bl mangas since it all seems to be about that trope and heck i never knew what's so appealing about those plots. now i finally understand.
Yup I've read BL for a long time and I'm pansexual. The more I learn about the community the more I'm starting to learn that certain tropes in it can potentially be detrimental to one's overall thinking towards the lgbtq+ community and homosexual relationships in general (NOT ALL BL) but a good majority
I don't think the story is bad but I think there's too many climactic events that occur super fast in a short amount of time I think they could of narrowed it down a little since its a short story. I also don't like the common trope where the uke is a prostitute or is a sex worker (NOT THAT THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH THAT) it just screams *A straight person wrote this* and there are a lot of stereotypes associated with gay males being sex workers and being overly sexualized. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm complaining but it feels like I'm not being honest unless I give my full opinion.
