That was me! Before, Liliana's father's ship was destroyed, I had a hypothesis this story could be loosely based on Agnes Gray by Anne Brontë. It is not a known fact merely a conjecture of mine. It is amusing that both male leads, in this work and Agnes Gray, are named Edward or Edwards. Agnes's father also passes, but not like Liliana's. If Liliana becomes a governess to support herself that will add another fact to my idea. Can't wait to see what happens next!
oh speaking of governess some people in the comment section did say...
[spoiler not spoiler for those that diligently not read spoilers hahaha]
...that she would be teaching the little sister of the male lead (hen he became elite/noble/new rich? idk the exact word), so in a way she might be a governess here :)) I'll read the book thank you btw!
i'm so hyped by the connection (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

i can remember someone commenting back then that this was based on a book? or something like that?
A female writer and they were not Jane Austen, but someone else. can't remember the said
book nor the author hahaha
