i did say i don’t like him though??? i’m not justifying his actions nor do i like him as a character. i just said that in the beginning i was rooting for him and expected character development. and it’s very clear he DOES love her. idk why you took such offence lol.
i agree!! but i feel like dowun is loyal to her, regardless of his intentions. he DOES want to keep her in power and he does want her safety. even though he knew the other princess was alive, he never thought of her as an option.
also with his brother, he hates dowun and does want to not be like him but i feel like all the scheming he’s doing has made him cold- like dowun. that’s the point i was trying to make!!
honestly i have no clue who i’m rooting for. i used to really root for dowun in the beginning. and i still have a soft spot for him simply because he was the first person to show her kindness and he’s the one who made her queen and he’s loyal to her no matter what. but at the same time he’s inhumane?? i feel like he actually loves her but he has been taught or has been cold his entire life and doesn’t know how to deal with it.
the captain of the guard has my entire heart though, but i feel like it won’t go down well for either of them if she is with him.
and dowun’s brother is forcing himself to be like dowun so it’s hard to watch, especially because we saw him as a cute child.
