The crown prince is a co possessor, if he has a child the child will not have the fragment. But when the king and queen die the crown prince becomes the next possessor so his child will have it. I think that’s what it means. And Arhad Is an illegitimate child from the king himself meaning he has the fragment so they want to kill him

That sounds a lot like it's more likely to be inherited by the child...
And what's the point anyway when in the next breath they explain that the possessor monopolizes the inheritance of the fragment.
