That and you might have a different picture for “fat”, each culture/country has their own ideals and picture/interpretation of the word. So what might be considered “fat” to other might be pretty normal to “us”
That is true, I didn't think of it that way.
When a character is labeled "fat" in these types of stories but is drawn only slightly more chubby than the rest of the cast. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I feel like the artists won't draw more plump characters bc they think the character's appeal will diminish in the eyes of reader. Which might be true when we consider Asian beauty standards.... (〜￣△￣)〜
