in spite of her terrible deads she is a good person at heart. You can tell that while she has no qualms doing what is necessary she still recognizes those actions as wicked. She tries to make up for it where she can (treats them well, minimal BS, etc).
MC very much get the impression that she is ready for peace. Once everything is finished, if not executed, she just wants to disappear somewhere and live quietly. And if she is to be punished, just like before, she does not plan to escape. She is more than willing yo atone for her crimes. She is a good person stuck doing wicked things do that others can remain 'clean'.
I like how Tia is the way she is. In that type of world, you have to be cunning and at times cruel in order to get somewhere. What she is trying to accomplish is on a grand scale. She has to do dirty deeds and use people. She still rewards them with something valuable after using them. She is doing all of this for a better outcome. If she is too nice no one would take her seriously. She has to be a "villain" in order to achieve her goal. She can't afford to think of others especially, people she's not even close with. She was a villain and she's already done things terrible. Now she's using her smarts for a good cause and I can't be mad at her for it.
