why? or am I anti romance?

why in every manga (at least a LOT) does one of the characters have to get sick? and then the other one rush to their house? why? and every time it's just a flu, so let them sleep no need to be so dramatic and overreact

I understand it is cute and caring but it is always the same thing :( especially when the situation between the characters is uncomfortable...

it's just kinda tiring to see the same development almost everywhere, nothing original, I wanted to see something else

I am sorry for annoying you with that I just wanted to let it out

I understand what u said, I was thought something similar. I think they write always scenes like this cause in Japan they take seriously things like flu and when people take care of each other is a way of showing the love of that person or something like that, idk sorry I just thought that kinda made sense.

But when men get the flu they think they're dying...it's all drama

it's a pretty standard hurt/comfort cliche and I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it every time...
