like i get that sensei has a time and publication restraint, also the fact it is a bl manga (although it’s not as if bl can’t touch on serious issues) but i wish the family and social issues between the beast-people and humans were properly addressed, it seems counterintuitive to introduce such divides as plot points and then just never talk about them again

This is exactly what I was thinking! Like, this could go the same route that The Promised Neverland went and we can have Yuki and Rou slowly break that wall that blocks the relationship between the beast-folk and the humans. I really thought the story was going to go down that road when the glasses dude said that Yuki and his brother were capable of changing that division, but then I looked up and realized there was only one chapter left. How are you gonna go and introduce such a great subplot but then throw it out the windowww plus, I wanted to see Yuki and his brother grow less distant as they fought against these social issues.... I wouldn’t have minded a reappearance from the chimeras Godai set free either
