Well, they died as teens (18) and then reincarnated as children and we're subsequently treated as so so it makes sense that they still think as teens.

Why ar they shocked? They should've at least expected something like that and the fact that they are still alive. At least they know a bit more about their mother and how she manage to pull of their birth. Adult minds?? Nah, I don't think so. More like teenagers.
