In my case is just a matter of taste, I don't hate it, but it's not my cup of tea. It's just that I tend to put myself in that situation and personally I would hate to be in this kind of relationship so I avoid those plots.

I don’t like this one bc it’s in poor taste. Tbh yaoi does a piss poor job of showing how a loving relationship between three people would ideally work - and you’d think bc it’s a work of fiction that it’d be easier. How can they be in a legitimate poly relationship if he was drunk enough to not even initiating sex with them and one of the guys thinks it’s appropriate to “take this as my chance”. I wish there would be just one healthy poly relationship out there but it’s either the two semes fighting, a forced relationship (if you don’t want to love my boyfriend and well as me I’ll break up with you), really rape, so disappointing

ughhh all this is so true I really think that Asian authors don't understand poly relationships at all. To be honest in always on the hunt for positive three-way relationships in yaoi for years now. Even when I started reading them I was like it's always a mono relationship or some messy entanglement lol. I read yaoi back when WaldenBooks was thing and they sold yaoi wayyyy in the back. This yaoi auntie won't stop looking for a healthy threesome for as long as I live !
I still don't get people's aversion to threesome especially if they end up well or even if he ends up with one the other two usually find a boyfriend. But hopefully this is a legitimate poly couple !
