Honestly, I think the author depicted identity crisis in this webtoon so well. The seme seemed so lost (I mean ofc he would be) and thus, kept doing and saying a lot of stupid things. But he came through in the end. I actually like his personality. He gonna like who he likes. If that makes him gay, then so be it. (The world should be like this) He kinda seemed pan to me tho. I mean character development is good! Uke was just a sweetie pie for me. Very relatable, doesn't excuse his prank but all is well in the end I guess.
Seme's friends: Glasses dude - You know people who literally just don't care >>> it him. People like these are quite rare and amusing? to me lol. You straight? Okay. You gay? Sure. You dating? Dont care. Zero fucks given. Your life, you live it.
Orange/red hair dude - Obviously an ally. I REALLY liked that scene where he explained how people can be "accepting as long as it isn't me". Ghad. We love an accepting person. My heart seriously fell for that. I also liked the fact that he EDUCATED and not RIDICULED. Sometimes people need guidance (ofc sometimes ppl need a beating but we aren't talking abt them rn).
Lastly, Baby boy maknae (youngest) - I know. I KNOW. He's twenty, he's got to have more brain cells than that right? Well, in some countries, homosexuality (and other gender identities) are taboo and unacceptable in the norm. Our setting is in Korea and yeah, it falls under those countries. I can completely understand people like that. They literally don't know any better. They just know what mainstream society knows. That's why I love how Orange dude explained to him the sitch. He loves his friend and cares what will happen to him (pretty normal response for his character imo). With the MC's relationship, I hope he continues to grow as a person, I mean he already showed development in the story which is nice.
HONESTLY, this story literally showed you quite a lot of things people will do/react if they find out you're not straight. Don't care, accept, confused, reject (homophobic drunkards). I think this was done nicely. Props to the author! Sorry for the long ass rant hahahahah. Try reading it and see if you agree with me! Have a good day! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
