Nah i dont think so, its just the right of inheritance. They are from a poor ass noble family who lives far away from the capital of course the older bro will be agitated since he's was told on a very young age that he will be the heir then next thing you know his lil bro hot all the power that he cant have

But it seems he wasn’t a bad person at first, he did like and acknowledge wendelin it was the father and the Klaus dude the put suspicion and hate in him. They made him feel inferior and made wendelin into his enemy. He not an ignorant noble that I thought he was. They worked the feild with others, got dirty and did labor, he cared for his people but his pride and anxiety got in the way and he turned out bad. I thought he was a douche bag in the beginning but knowing more of his thoughts I wish he could have had a better ending... I mean she should be held accountable for his crimes but maybe be strip of his title but able to live peacefully with his fam
