Yeah, but at the same time, this takes place in a medieval times where it's common practice so we can't hold it up to our society today
I do get it, but personally any positive portrayal of slavery, which was a real ass gruesome thing, makes me cringe, and I come from an ex colonial country so it peeves me more. But that's just me ig not really hating.
