I agree with you about not even understanding how they fell in love, but that is often a staple of Harlequins. None of us can count how many times some Harlequin FL goes immediately bat-shit crazy over some psychopathic, vengeful bastard who pollutes the world just by being alive. It's why, when the story's love is believable and endearing, we the readers end up going bat-shit crazy over the story.
I have high expectation to this since Leah and Ajax story was good but the more I read the more I'm annoyed to the characters. The FL is stupid and the ML is a moron, I don't even get it how they fell in love with each other.
