It’s fine to ship, it’s unavoidable. But it’s wrong to send, show or direct them to that content. Shipping has existed for a long time. In the 60s and 70s, it was with The Beatles and Star Wars, so you can’t exactly stop it, but you can keep the content between fans only.
It’s not fine, it’s still wrong, also Star Wars isn’t real so ofcourse it’s fine to ship *fictional* characters. It doesn’t matter if it’s existed for a long time, so has racism, history means nothing. It’s about respect.
