triggered to no end ? ijkel and jennet grew up together. they are literally like siblings and childhood friends. How would you feel if your sibling told you that he doesn't give a shit about you ? He could have told jennet he thought of her as a sister. and that would be the end. I understand he is in love with athy. but what he said to her who was literally like a family member was "cruel". smh.
But Ijekiel is the one who sees her as a sister. Imagine if your sibling saw you as a possible marriage partner. And without even asking what you think about the whole thing, just assuming that you'll be okay. Big yikes. He had all the right to call her off her delusions, and he didn't even say he doesn't care about her, just that Athy is his priority. Don't twist his words, he wasn't even cruel, just upfront, because Jennette is not the type who understand if you talk subtly
No i am not twsistin his words. "he literally said athy is the onky important person in his like and no one else is" that literally means he does not give a fuck about someone who he grew up with. he could have rejected her by saying I think of you as my sister instead of telling her that she is not important to him at all.
You must be great at English. "more than anyone else" doesn't mean there aren't any people important other than her, just that Athy is his number one. Did he ever say Jennette is not important to him or are you just again twisting his words? "Clearly states" means his words put no space for doubt, yet he never said anything about not seeing her as his sister. Learn English. Also Jennette saw him as a fiance for God's sake, yet you blame him for drawing a line.
I agree that it is quite cruel to tell that 'most important in my life' but I think it is right that he rejected her before her love even blossom. And i dont think jeannette even likes him romantically. She just like the idea of Ezekiel being his prince lol she thinks life is a fairytale. No its not like that gurl. Though i pity her but i pity Ezekiel too for being treated as a tool too by his father
it's not, you're completely overreacting and twisting words if that's what you believe that means. Do you have siblings?? Have you ever been in love?? You should know that when someone gets married to someone they're in love with, their whole world will revolve the most around that person and that's totally normal and okay because it's an entirely different bond. It's possessive and honestly wrong to guilt a family member from putting the person they love romantically in front of their relative.
LMAO. you sre the one who is overreacting . I am not even talking to you. If you cant get simple meaning . i dont know what to day. stop spamming me.
you don't go to your siblings out of nowhere and tell them "xyz means the world to me " "more than anyone else"
like wtf. she did not even cofess to him. she did not even show any rimanitic intrest whatsoever.
you CAN LOVE SOMEONE ROMANTICALLY AND LOVE OTHER In A FAMILY BOND. tgere is no need to pick and choose. you LOVE bith of your daufhter at ghe dame time. And love your GF and Sister at that same time.

He didn't go out of no where, they were discussing Athy and Izekiel realized Jeanette may have have a wrong idea in her head about where he stood with Athy, so he talked to her directly to clear any misconceptions. You can say she didn't show any romantic interest, ur she clearly stated that she believed they would get married, so he wanted to say that there was no possibility of that happening.
I never stated that you can't love people at the same time, but of you're going to say that you can love someone romantically and love someone else and there's no need to pick and choose, then you should know that him saying he loves athy more DOES NOT mean that he doesn't love or care for Jeannette, and it definitely doesn't mean that his bond with her means nothing.

I don't feel bad for Jeannette, I don't think that he was "cruel" for being honest and upfront with her about his feelings and where they stood (he didn't put her down or anything, he literally just stated that athy was the most important thing in his life and y'all got triggered to no end), and I don't think she's she's interesting enough for her to have gotten so much screen time. It's not her fault that she's been lied to and it sucks that she feels so lonely, but she's extremely self-centered and naive, and there comes a point when that level of ignorance becomes downright dangerous and honestly just makes you stupid and inconsiderate. I'm tired of seeing her and I'm sorry but she's just not interesting at all, just frustrating and incredibly predictable. I liked her just fine until her major arc that made me nearly quit the story entirely and I'm at a point where I just wish Athy let her drown.
