She doesn’t know about Athy’s circumstances. We only know because we are able to see other POVs. She’s wanted a family for all her life so you can’t expect her to not feel envy for Athy. And her only “crime” is believing that Claude is her dad. Everything that Athy has been going through is not because of Jennette. (Isn’t Athy’s dad the cause of Athy’s experiences?)

..despite knowing how hard Jeannette felt, I still don't feel sorry for her... （￣へ￣）
Maybe because I have seen Athy trying her best to help Claude now while Jeannette is still only thinking of herself to be accepted.
She didn't experienced what Athy have been going through but she felt envy of Athy (Athy have been experiencing Life and Death since birth though haha) Athy may be blood related to Claude in that life but she still thinks like she only went inside the novel story and replacing the real Athanasia but still she felt very attached now to Claude even though she only thought of Claude as her Daddy in that life.
While Jeannette always believe that Claude is her real Dad, she still relying on Mr. White and ended up causing trouble without her even realizing. Well a criminal who didn't know its crime is not banned as guilty as they say.
Anyway, since they changed a lot from the novel, I stopped reading then. I'm looking forward to Season 3!!!!
