excuse the shitty grammar

i feel like the sad thing about most yaoi's is that most of the authours dont look at it as a story but just an excuse to create porn and make money. I feel that some ppl fetishize these relationships to the point were, they see the characters as something to act out fantasizes and the authours see that and create stories where the plot is absoltue trash and pushes the wrong ideaologies purley bc its whatll make the most money and satisfy the readers. Honestly for a while ive lost intrest in seeing yaoi's as a story and more as just random ass porn bc there is no character depth. They do stuff that is absolutley stupid, like "omg we're fighting right now, guess its time to go rape the uke bc i dont understand feelings" like wtf? is that all these characters are ment to mean? I dont mind the porn cus like, its hot bro. take Painter in the night as an example, its an amazing art, that, although contains a shit ton of sex scenes and has the most ubsurd relationship, we can see these characters as ppl, we see their changes in emotions based on their what they experience, we can witness character development and see them more as humans bc we can relate to some (i say some bc i do NOT relate to any of those characters on a personal level, thank god) of their reactions as humans, not as "oooo guess its time to go rape some as a shoddy excuse of an apology bc im a douchebag"
