Hmm I hope you don't misunderstand tho, it's the novel's influence. They were supposed to be best friends y'know? And imagine if someone clearly disliked you without you doing anything to offend them. You'd at least try to get to the bottom of it.

In the original story they were best friends until rael met the male lead, and yunifer got jealous and eventually tried to kill her... I don't think rael is being strange sometimes you meet people you really want to befriend and paired with the novel's influence there's no way she wouldn't act a bit hurt
she has this whole “i’m innocent, i can’t do no wrong” look about her but if you observe her actions and thoughts.. something feels off. she’s not that close to yunifer, and she wasn’t even back then when yunifer changed roommates. her attachment to yunifer and possessiveness is just weird- even now, she feels some sort of entitlement to her. i feel like she’s a bit crazy but we just don’t know yet
