Well Regan clearly stated she wouldn't have gone for a commoner (so she wouldn't seduce him), and when she recounted the situation she ran into Hector and then asked what happened then there was that weird glowering look and then that's the end and Regan stated that he didn't seduce her meaning she didn't want to be with him.

Simple words..Regan said "..he didn't seduce u"..meaning she wasn't raped/forced/seduced..they did it consciously without any feelings..at chap 21..

Idk guess I just interpretted it differently because of how he looked when she recounted it.

When I read that part I understood it as he raped her. And I can’t change my mind.

Same every time I see it I see it as her getting raped though other people might see it different. And it's weird. People pass it off as her being a girl who likes to sleep around but like... It feels like it hinted heavy towards rape

I think i interpreted her that way cause a raped person is more devastated mentally..the way she talked about her being just pregnant..like she's just tensed how her father gonna react when he'll know she's pregnant..how the hell she's gonna handle the mess..it definitely didn't show in her face that she's disgusted or mentally devastated like a raped person is..A raped person NEVER talks so lightly of her experience even if she's used sleeping around..I'm sure of that cause I've seen raped cases..

I have a lot of friends who were raped and some who became pregnant as a result. Not everyone has the same reaction. Some of my friends closed themselves off, others acted like rape never happened. One friend did talk lightly of her rape because she was one to sleep around and she felt it was her fault, which it absolutely was not. In this case you only know her reaction based on what a few pages? We don’t get much on what happened and we’re left to speculate.

Okay..let me break it down to you dear..I'm a female doctor from Bangladesh..I've writen so many rape reports in highly detailed manner than u can imagine..some people do tend to show it lightly but deep inside it's never easy for them..no matter if u are a prostitute or just sleeps around having sex with and without consent is a major deal...without consent is rape basically..well it's one of the factor..there're 7 must condition to consider a rape according to medical association and law in my country which btw follows bristish law..which i learned in my 3rd year in med school in forensic medicine class..I'm not gonna tell u the details cz it's a pain to write such a longggg comment..
