It doesn't matter... Like the mangaka said themselves, Jihyun shouldn't be forgiven. You are trying to emphasize with a person who is abusive. It's not right, and the parallel universe was only made for 'fanservice'. Since the mangaka disagrees with his actions that will NEVER happen! Sorry to disappoint... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I was really hoping for a fuller parallel universe...one in which we find out the reason Chiwoo and Jihyun are together is because he stopped himself from attacking Chiwoo and turned his life around, maybe with Chiwoo's help. But it was just sex (don't get me wrong, I enjoyed that, but felt the sex would've meant more if there was some story behind it). Missed opportunity, IMHO.
