    No the novel has WAY more development and takes WAY longer to get to this point

    Reason for this: novels use words to get images into your head where as manhwas/manhuas already have images for you so you can look at the images and read what the characters say and think instead of the detailed descriptions of the scenery or characters. (I’m not an author I just observed this when I read a novel based manga for the first time)
