Corset

Funny thing is more so than the unjust treatment, i am more upset with the whole "corsets aren't comfortable"
Like excuse me??? I've spent 5 hours in a corset dancing like a fool with my friends. Back then BRAS = CORSETS basically. They provided structure as well. On top of that even men wore them. Even common folk commonly wore corsets and WORK WORKED. Hell, in a lot of dresses corsets are naturally worked in. The whole thing about them fainting is actually mostly people over exaggerating.

Its so easy to look into these facts! AnD dOnT gIvE mE tHe "they move your organs" sPeeCh

So does pregnancy and do you see mom dropping because their baby is squishing their diaphragm???? Corsets are better than most bras today. If you wanna make a fashion based webtoon please don't use false info.

I am also aware that she passed out also from overwork and period problems. They still painted corsets in a bad light it and its bad enough so called feminists complaining aboit them in movies

I understand your point of view but this is only if the tightness is appropriate. Many ladies would go overboard with their corset to make their waist look smaller and make it so tight they could not eat or drink while they had it on.

The person that fainted had not rested for a long period of time and was overworked, the corset was not the only reason she fainted. However, when she did faint as she had no energy to properly move her muscles and fill her lungs with air as she was unconscious, thus it made her stop breathing.

You have to take in accounts the circumstances. I agree that corsets look pretty and even give comfort and help with posture (but only if the tightness is comfortable to the individual wearing it) etc. as individuals who have back problems/injuries or need help in rehabilitating their posture tend to have corset-like pieces recommended to wear.

That is very I watched a video about corsets in the medieval period and many people wanted to have smaller bc thats the trend at that time and the more tighter it gets the breathing becomes more restricted leading to faintness. Compressing the abdominal organs could cause poor digestion and over time. In fact, long term tight lacing led to the rib cage becoming deformed

My main aggravation was how it was immediately categorized as uncomfortable clothes when its mostly misuse when i get down to it. It would honestly be so much easier for her to explain the ways to train yourself for a corset and how to wear it properly that convince everyone they are uncomfortable(because some people find them comfortable).
