exactly?? most stories with step siblings are quick to be like “oh but they’re not ACTUALLY related” and completely ignore the fact that they practically grew up together and consider themselves as siblings. stuff like this is an anomaly and i hate how authors love to push this dumb trope for the sake for romance. friendship is also a good thing ykwim??

also at first I thought the “brother” would be the male lead but like the way they were fast to say they’re siblings And the “blush” was only when they got to meet each other again, I really don’t think it’s more than siblings. I actually like that because I kinda hate it when they make step siblings, even if they’re not blood related come on- they’re still siblings I hope they don’t get together and just stay siblings bc I like they’re relationship like that
