I don’t really know much about irl dom/sub lifestyle but there are many earlier posts from people that do here. But from reading them, no this is definitely not what it’s supposed to be like. This is like 50 shades of grey, ok to read but not ok to use as a base for a healthy dom/sub relationship.
Good! Again, I’m not bashing ANYONES preferences, I am simply voicing my opinion in regards to what I would want/not want to experience. I’ve never read/seen 50 shades, it never interested me lol
Yeah this is for sure NOT what a health dom/sub relationship is supposed to be. Usually with dom/sub there is a lot of pre-negotiation where they talk about their likes, dislikes, limits, safe words, things they want to experiment with, and things they absolutely won't do. Although the dom is the one who dominates, generally it's always the sub who is actually in control. They have the power to stop anything that's happening by using their safe word, no questions asked. That is a hard rule of healthy dom/sub relationships. The safe word is never questions.
So yeah, this manhwa is depicting dom/sub in a creepy/unhealthy way. There are people into pet play, but that is just one kink among a very long list of kinks and not every dom/sub relationship is into that.
Kinda like the manga more than I don’t like it? But like comparing him to a dog is tew much...I don’t know much about it but are real life dom/sub relationships like this? No shade to anybody who may partake in it but I don’t like the idea of that..it’s inhuman and degrading imo
