because back then there were a lot of wars and a low population, meaning that if woman died it would be more of a risk, as one man can repopulate the world with 20 women, but 1 woman and 20 men would lead to extinction. this led to women being viewed as more valuable, and needing to be protected, which lead to them becoming less exposed to the outer world and viewed as weaker, even as time went on and there wasn't as much of a need for women to be protected due to less war and higher population. the cultural views and expectations became more warped as time went on, leading to the still ever present idea that women are inherently weaker, which luckily becomes less and less prominent as time goes on.

no, it's definitely not the whole world. at all. there are so many third world countries today that are genuinely suffering because colonialism prevented them from growing culturally, where woman are genuinely objectified to only one role. first world countries are far from that. please don't make light of the genuine problems by generalizing them to "the entire world."
Why they gotta look down on women so much?... It Makes me sad..
