That logic doesn’t really make sense once you’ve read the novel because some characters who aren’t reincarnated act completely different from how they did in the game and that’s all I’m gonna say. So basically the author had no effect on them. Also technically the game is based on the world not the other way around but I think I might be spoiling too much if I explain that.
