Okay so he want to get to know her better, that doesn't excuse his actions and possessiveness. He wants to her as some kind of pet like object he can protect and claim. Its gross.
ML doesn't see FL as an actual person, only some happy naive spring time ray of sunshine. It's so annoying. I wish the FL, would just say "fuck the story" and live her life and be happy.
