actually its the novel that made me decide she should GTFO ASAP. The abuse to Penelope was just too much and the original Penelope was really just a pitiful girl that was abused to the point that she became horrible to gain their attention (even if it was the hateful kind)
Sure they have a redemption arc (at least some of them *cough*) courtesy of the transmigrated MC but the original Penelope will never get closure and I feel absolutely sorry for her. They took out their anger on a 6 year old child they adopted as a replacement. Those aren't good people in my book.
Even though I have decided that she should get away from her family members asap, i can still admire all their pretty faces.
