I don't know but I think there's something or someone far worse than the older brother as the enemy. In Atty's dad childhood memories the older brother seemed to be called by some dark force bc when they were children they love each other I guess something changed along the way and that is that the bother was subjected to this dark force wich I think has something to do with black magic just my thory though and sorry for the bad english
