I think some of us feel for Uenoyama because he's trapped in the shadow of the ex. The worst part is that this ex is dead and we tend to idolize the dead.
It feels like Mafuyu is stringing Uenoyama along, and he should let him go. Mafuyu knows how Uenoyama feels, but he also knows that at the moment he can't fully reciprocate the feeling.
Why allow Uenoyama to feel low about himself because he can't live up to the image of Yuki? Why does he need to compete with Yuki?
They should both mutually end it, but remain friends. Mafuyu needs to heal and Uenoyama just need to be a good friend. Maybe they could find their way back to each other in their twenties when they've both had some real world experiences.
I can't comprehend how people hating on Mafuyu, like hating him because it's looks like he's just using Uenoyama as a rebound? First of all Yuki and Mafuyu are childhood friend turned into lovers. How can you all expect him to forget his soulmate?! Just because someone's loving him now?! And he's trying his best to work everything out with Uenoyama!! Can't you see how he cried when they got misunderstanding?! Can't you see his smile when they're together?! Slowly but surely hell moved on. But don't push it if you'd never experienced he's been through.
I know it's a manga but plssss. All of them are precious beans
